Good Karma on my Commute

I was walking to work this morning and was about a block away when a woman started walking in stride.  I thought it was a co-worker that had caught up to me - which is easy to do, as I'm only 5'2".  I turned to her and she said, "Your money is falling out of your back pocket."  How nice!!  She saved me from losing the $20 I had snagged from my husband, just an hour earlier, as I rushed out the door to catch the train!  I thanked her and as she walked ahead, I tucked my money into my bag for better security.

A minute later, I arrived at my building.  I entered through the glass doors along with a man who was pulling a carry-on sized suitcase.  I held the door for him and he gave me a very surprised look.  Maybe men aren't used to women being gentlemanly.  As he walked through the door with ease, he thanked me and said "You are going to have good karma today."  I smiled and thought - I already did.
